Our Supercup Exhaust System is a loud and aggressive performance exhaust system designed with track use in mind. This system is a lot lighter than the factory system and flows much better. The Supercup is significantly louder than our Maxflo Exhaust option, but if you're looking for a very aggressive exhaust note and you're not worried about waking up the neighbors, this is the system for you!
NOTE: Carrera C4S models must re-use OEM tips.

I am the seventh owner of a 2001 996. Lord knows what previous owners have done with my car but the exhaust was not one of the improvements. Bought the supercup. It arrived quickly from the folks a Fabspeed direct. The exhaust was an easy install but as a hack mechanic I sent a couple hours learning things that any garage knows but heck it was fun.
Cold start up, pure heaven coming off the peddle o a few pops and a bit of growl. Let my son take my car for a spin just so I could listen from the outside. Unfortunately, inside is just as loud...if I am going to hear the radio or have my wide join me on trips this turned out to not be the perfect exhaust for me. So pick your priorities, if hearing inside the car is important then read my review on the Max Flow that I ended up choosing.
I recently purchased a 996/911 with the Fabspeed exhaust installed. I didn't realize the beauty of the sound until I arrived at the Tampa airport to pick up my car. It was parked in the cement parking ramp near a corner. The previous owner started the car for me as I stood behind it. He blipped the throttle a little and shut it down. The grin started then. I drove the car out of the parking ramp touching the throttle as I drove. The echo was intoxicating. It didn't sound like a normally aspirated flat 6, it sounded angry, mean, aggressive. The exit from the ramp was a long curve that entered the highway. Next to the curve was a tall wall that bounced the sound from the chrome tips to the center of my brain.
We traveled hours on the highway where I would forget the sound (it's quite tame at 80 mph in 6th gear). Then I would downshift to pass and my eyes would again light up.
We made it to Gatlinburg that night and got up early to head north. I knew the road from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge would be ideal; tunnels, rock walls, trees. The best being the 1/4 mile tunnel where I dropped to 2nd gear and wound the engine up. NO video can capture the sound. NO car sounds like it. The rasp of the engine, the throaty sound, the roar when the cams advance!
I've only owned the car/exhaust for a month but I can assure you this is by far the best sounding combination I've heard!
The exhaust is AWESOME!!! OMG!!! I can't get this shit-eating grin off my face. This is exactly what the car should sound like. Thanks so much for all your help! You were dead right in all your recommendations and I'm really happy with Fabspeed.
