Firstly, the product is well designed and manufactured. It literally bolted into place on my 83 Porsche 911 as if it was OEM. But the best part is, my gas mileage improved by almost 2MPH and I feel a bit more power. I don't hesitate to recommend FabSpeed!

I installed both the Euro cat bypass and muffler bypass on my 1987 Porsche Carrera. As a retired engineer I am probably overly "picky", but the quality of construction is evident from the moment you open the box. The installation went perfectly with the exception of having to slightly enlarge the gasket holes (not made by Fabspeed) and the results were wonderful. I am running this with a Steve Wong chip, and he has a Dyno chart for a similar setup on his website, claiming 246 hp at he flywheel. My 0-60 times have definitely improved. I would recommend this to anyone desiring better sound and more power from one of our beloved "airheads".
I also have Fabspeed mufflers on my 996 and recently ordered the Maxflo muffler and euro catbypass pipe for an 89 3.2 Porsche 911. What can I say but "beautiful exhaust notes"... Quality is best in the industry and it's money well spent!!!! I will keep buying Fabspeed products for life!
All parts (bolts, nuts, gaskets) included. After cursing heavily during factory cat converter removal, you will want to use anti-seize on the bots/nuts. I combined this with a upgraded Steve Wong DME chip install and the combination provides a noticeable mid-range RPM power/torque boost between 3000-4500 RPM. Very well made piece and deepens the exhaust note with the factory muffler without drone. Overall very satisfied!
Like a other review I had a problem. The hardest part of the installation was wrenching it out of my sons' grip, By the time I removed the old cat he had it mounted on his wall. After hours of pleading he relented and the installation went without a hitch,
With stock muffler it has given the car a nice deep tone.
I am very upset about the recent purchase of a Fabspeed pre-muffler/cat-bypass pipe. First, and foremost, I was expecting $300 worth of quality and I received $600. I was also expecting a wrestling match with the install and it fit perfectly. The high quality fasteners and copper gaskets were really, really annoying . I will bet that little Fabspeed nameplate is stainless too. Oh, let's talk about weld quality. What's up with no spatter and the beautiful uniform beads? The flanges are disgustingly stout and the overall finish is astounding. As to performance, the 81 SC only sounds better, revs quicker and has more pull. In short, I was hoping for a whole lot less.
When I scrounge up the cash for my next Fabspeed product, I hope you do a better job of meeting my expectations.
