Direct upgrade/replacement for OEM LDZ turbo resulting in significant power gains and quicker spool
NOTE: The Factory 930 Turbo support bracket will need to be modified in order to be used with a K27 turbo upgrade or a conversion bracket can be purchased from link above. And a Turbo Pressure Pipe Adapter Kit is also required which can be purchased from link above (Not Required if using Fabspeed Intercooler)
It all started with a new exhaust system on my 930 Turbo Targa. A new system from Porsche was NLA so I was forced to look elsewhere and decided on a Fabspeed system. It was so impressive that I went back in for a Fabspeed intercooler. It transformed the performance of the car. The only logical next step was to upgrade the turbo with a Fabspeed K27 7200 conversion.
The end result is fantastic. The turbo spools up at 2500 rpm with virtually no lag and from 2600 on it just goes on and on. The 1 bar uprated wastegate spring boosts performance and the combination of the two is incredible. The car is even more nimble and responsive and the overall package is a joy. Overall it's another great product from Fabspeed.
