I bought this CAT to replace a Euro pre-muffler I had installed. I loved the pre-muffler's sound and performance, but I could NOT stand the smell from the exhaust at stop lights. Having a cabriolet made it worse.
This sport cat stopped the smell 100% and the performance is equal to what I had from the pre-muffler from what I can tell. The sound is slightly quieter than the pre-muffler, but I like the tone even more.
The installation of this part was very easy. It fit the car on the manifold side and the muffler side perfectly. I did have to make a couple of the holes in the gasket on the manifold side a little larger to fit the bolts through, but the fit of the pipe itself was spot on.
The build quality on this piece is fantastic and it looks beautiful! I don't know if the chrome will stay chrome, but for now it's quite shiny!
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this product.

It's great , not too loud , gives car a Low deep tone. Very happy with the way it looks and sounds on my 1987 911 .
