Fabspeed Special Operations

Fabspeed Motorsport USA has been a leader in engineering and developing exhaust systems for the exotic car performance industry for over 25 years. Our number one goal is creating exhaust products that help improve the performance and sports car sound for the life of the vehicle.

We at Fabspeed are proud to announce our new Special Operations division that will specialize in fabricating Inconel and Titanium exhaust components. This new division will help improve the reach we have with our exhaust components to vehicles that are racetrack oriented and want the very best out of their exotic vehicle.

So what is Inconel Ni625?

Inconel is nickel-chromium alloy 625 that is used for its superior strength and ability to resist high-heat situations for long periods of time. This makes it a perfect metal to use in Formula 1 and Indy-car vehicles which need the lightest and strongest material for exhaust components that can withstand all heat being pushed through.

Inconel has a wide range of uses, from motorsports to nuclear reactors, and has withstood the torture of time. Some of the key properties that make Inconel a perfect solution for motorsport application are it's high tensile, creep, and rupture strength; outstanding fatigue and thermal-fatigue strength; and oxidation resistance.

Using our years of experience with creating high-end performance exhaust systems we are pleased to start our venture into using Inconel and testing our capabilities to help bring the exotic car industry a new contender in the Inconel game.

So what is Titanium?

Titanium is recognized for its high strength-to-weight ratio. Titanium is 60% denser than aluminum but more than twice as strong as commonly used aluminum. Due to its strength and density, titanium has started being used in motorsport applications that require tight bends and shapes without sacrificing material characteristics.

A key feature that has grown the popularity of titanium in motorsports and the automotive industry is how lightweight the material is while still maintaining its strength.

So what is Fabspeed Special Operations?

Fabspeed Special Operations is our new division that will feature products made from high-quality Inconel and Titanium. We will be slowly and meticulously rolling out new products from our Special Ops division once they are finished in our R&D process.

The first product we are releasing is our McLaren 720s Supersport X-Pipe made from 100% Inconel Ni625. This system features an X-pipe design that will increase exhaust gas flow and create a ripping effect. The system features mandrel-bent material to decrease any interference with exhaust flow to maximize performance and sports car sound.

We are very proud to announce this new product line and excited to continue to add new Inconel and Titanium systems to our Special Operations department.Stay tuned for our next product debut!
