Positions Available

+ MIG/TIG Welder

Fabspeed is seeking a talented MIG/TIG Welder-Fabricators for our exciting and fast-paced design, engineering, and world-class manufacturing facility in Fort Washington, PA. Experienced applicants should be excited about fabricating metal using our specialized equipment to create exhaust and intake systems for Porsche, Ferrari, Mclaren, Lamborghini, and more Exotic cars. The ideal candidate should be passionate about pursuing excellence in everything they do. Fabspeed proudly operates with almost 30 Years of EXCELLENCE. 

The MIG / TIG Welder is responsible for: 

  • MIG and TIG welding of thin-gauge 304 stainless steel tubing, brackets, flanges, bungs, catalytic converters, endcaps, castings, pipe-bends, and assemblies.
  • High-volume production output to be monitored against production standards.
  • Create finished goods to high-quality specifications, presenting 100% accuracy to the integrity of welds, as well as cosmetic standards.
  • Shaping, fitting, and welding of raw materials as per our manufacturing jigs, work instructions, and templates
  • Maintaining and securing all manufacturing jigs, tooling, and equipment
  • Cutting, grinding, drilling, shaping, and de-burring components utilizing hand tools, basic power tools, drill presses, plasma cutters, grinders, belt sanders, pipe expanders, pipe reducers, flaring equipment, measuring tools, and templates, etc. as needed to boost production flow.
  • Executing all work assigned in a timely and accurate manner against time and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities 

Beyond the normal activities as covered above, the candidate is also responsible for: 

  • Company event attendance
  • Maintaining a neat workspace and keeping shared spaces clean and tidy
  • Exhibiting professional behaviors and adhering to Company policies and practices
  • Embracing Lean Methodology, maximizing production, minimizing costs and waste
  • Providing feedback and ideas for continuous improvements that can be made to better our process, equipment, or tools.

The candidate we are looking to hire must possess these qualities:

Fabspeed is seeking talented Metal Fabricators for our exciting and fast-paced design, engineering, and world-class manufacturing facility in Fort Washington, PA. Experienced applicants should be excited about fabricating metal using our specialized equipment to create exhaust and intake systems for Porsche, Ferrari, Mclaren, Lamborghini, and more Exotic cars. 

The role is responsible for: 

  • Preparing products for welding from 304 stainless steel tubing, brackets, flanges, bungs, catalytic converters, endcaps, castings, pipe-bends, and assemblies.

+IT Specialist

Fabspeed Motorsport is seeking an experienced IT Specialist for our exciting and fast-paced design, engineering, and world-class manufacturing facility in Fort Washington, PA.

Technology Maintenance

  • Servers: Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade networks and in-house servers, including installation, integration, and update of new server hardware and applications
  • Software & Hardware: Ensure reliability, scalability, security, integrity, and performance of software, hardware, and peripheral connections (i.e.. external hardware output devices)
  • Applications: Support and administer third-party applications, and correspond with third-party businesses and developers. Internet VPN’s remote implementation, VoIP phone optimization & integrations to track conversions, and optimize conversions (SMS, WhatsApp)
  • Operational Functionality: Ensure network security and connectivity. Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses. Regularly evaluate IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
  • Employee permissions: Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords and resolve problems reported by end-user. Audit existing settings and linked applications/accounts/users.
  • Service Vendors: Manage IT projects with internal and external parties. Upgrading existing software.
  • Security: Reduce risk and threats through firewalls, antivirus, compliance, security certificates, protection of account access, documents, hardware, etc. Secure sensitive documents and ensure access as needed, proactively avoiding breaches
  • User Support: Provide employee user support for IT-related questions or issues. Analyze system issues and configure resolutions.
  • Database & Information Protection: Ensure storage, backup, and recovery software is secure to prevent information loss and unauthorized access.

Strategic Technology Development

  • Technology Advancement: Research, compare, present and implement new technologies to drive business process efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Orchestrate and collaborate with departments to facilitate IT changes, and roll out new technology practices and procedures. Educate coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage and compliance with department safety and quality standards
  • Process Improvements: Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems. Define network policies and procedures, and create user training materials/resources. Specify system requirements and design solutions.
