Positions Available

 

+Fabrication Specialist

Fabspeed is seeking talented Metal Fabricators for our exciting and fast-paced design, engineering, and world-class manufacturing facility in Fort Washington, PA. Experienced applicants should be excited about fabricating metal using our specialized equipment to create exhaust and intake systems for Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, and more Exotic cars. 

The role is responsible for: 

  • Preparing products for welding from 304 stainless steel tubing, brackets, flanges, bungs, catalytic converters, endcaps, castings, pipe-bends, and assemblies.

  • High-volume production output to be monitored against production standards.

  • Create finished goods to high-quality specifications, presenting 100% accuracy to the integrity of welds, as well as cosmetic standards.

  • Shaping, fitting, and preparation of raw materials as per our manufacturing jigs, work instructions, and templates

  • Maintaining and securing all manufacturing jigs, tooling, and equipment

  • Cutting, grinding, drilling, shaping, and de-burring components utilizing hand tools, basic power tools, drill presses, plasma cutters, grinders, belt sanders, pipe expanders, pipe reducers, flaring equipment, measuring tools, and templates, etc. as needed to boost production flow.

  • Executing all work assigned in a timely and accurate manner against time and quality standards.


Responsibilities - Beyond the normal activities as covered above, the candidate is also responsible for: 

  • Company event attendance

  • Maintaining a neat workspace and keeping shared spaces clean and tidy

  • Exhibiting professional behaviors and adhering to Company policies and practices

  • Embracing Lean Methodology, maximizing production, minimizing costs and waste

  • Providing feedback and ideas for continuous improvements that can be made to better our process, equipment, or tools.


Accountabilities - The success of the role can be quantified by:

  • Quality, accuracy, and volume of work, as measured by expected Company standards.  

  • Personal drive and work ethic, operating with an enthusiastic attitude. 


The candidate we are looking to hire must possess these qualities:

  • Able to read, understand and follow assembly instructions and prints.

  • Have a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent math skills.

  • Capable to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a group environment.

  • Dependable, punctual, reliable and have a great attitude.

  • Proficiency with metalworking tools and providing preventative maintenance.

+Materials Handler

Fabspeed is seeking an experienced Materials Handler for our exciting and fast-paced design, engineering, and world-class manufacturing facility in Fort Washington, PA. 

The Materials Handler is responsible for:

  • Carefully prepare/package finished products for customers following Company procedures
  • Complete cycle counts for inventory accuracy
  • Receive, organize, and put-away supplies or goods as needed
  • Daily high-volume shipping output monitored against Company standards
  • Quality-confirm products against strict-quality assurance standards (integrity and cosmetic)
  • Test-fitting products, maintaining and securing all manufacturing jigs, tooling, and equipment
  • Using drills, basic power tools, pipe expanders, measuring tools, etc. as needed
  • Executing all work assigned in a timely and accurate manner against time and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

+Financial Accountant

 The Financial Accountant will manage the financial operations of Fabspeed, and establish standards to control company spending and enhance profitability. The Financial Accountant will enable the business to grow and succeed using financial performance reporting, strategic budgeting, and resource-control measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate financial reporting or information to management as needed
  • Audit and analyze finances, using efficient techniques to identify potential fraud or errors
  • Support operations in identifying and reporting profitability, cost-containment, and lean opportunities
  • Manage financial transactions
  • Streamline accounting functions and operations
  • Assist departments with invoice or payment matters as they arise
  • Accounts Payable: Review, process, and pay bills and invoices
  • Monitor internal spending, evaluate and manage risks
  • Participate in budgeting processes and developing plans for financial growth
  • Accounts Receivable: Review and report on aging status, submit invoices due, request and process payments based upon customer/company terms
  • Control company credit card and monthly statements
  • Reconcile bank statements, and process check, wire, and cash payments
  • Reconcile merchant accounts (credit cards, PayPal, etc.)
  • Log invoices, bills, and payroll entries in ERP Software
  • Manage and file state and local sales taxes using web-based tax software and ERP system
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government accounting reporting requirements
  • Calculate variances from pricing or budget, alert management of issues
  • Maintain an orderly desk space and filing system
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed
