Fabspeed's Supercup Turboback Exhaust System for the 718 Boxster/Cayman is the ultimate solution for performance, with 3" mandrel bent tubing to reduce turbo lag and 36lbs / 16.4kg of weight while offering an invigorating increase in turbo sound and boxer rumble. The 718 in this video is equipped with our Supercup Turboback Exhaust System (with Sport Cat). SOUND: With Sport mode activated burbles and backfires erupt in abundance on overrun, and downshifts summon a bark that will make all eyes and ears around focus on you. Worry not about drone as the volume level in the cabin is quite refined given the aggressive nature of the exhaust - this system is very livable on a daily driven car. The factory exhaust mutes the turbochargers, the free-flowing Supercup reveals their presence with a very pleasing increase in spooling sounds, adding more character to your driving experience. The boxer rumble is enhanced and refined in a distinct Porsche tone.     We purchased a 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster S in August 2016. We ordered several options including the Sport Chrono Plus, which allows a bit of a different exhaust sound directly from the factory. We otdered the stock exhaust, not the factory sport exhaust, as we knew we were going to get the Fabspeed exhaust installed after purchase.

    Fabspeed is noted for their precise engineering and high-quality. We were still pleasantly surprised by what a beautiful exhaust system this was when we received it. It looks like artwork. But.....How does it work?

    We are completely enthralled. My wife is not a fan of what she calls obnoxiously loud exhaust, but this one has such high-quality sound that she actually enjoys it even in the sport setting. When in normal sport Chrono mode, exhaust noise is quiet enough to come home at night without waking up the neighbors. It also seems to get a lot better gas mileage, although that may not be dependent on exhaust as much as the ECU programming.

    When in the sport mode on the Chrono plus setting, the exhaust is everything I had hoped it to be. I'm a fan of a much more emphatic exhaust, and this is both a masculine and throaty sound. It does not drone, nor does it vibrate at all. You will definitely know it's there, and I did post a couple of videos on this website as well both of a drive-by & and in cabin video recording.

    The performance of this car is quite exhilarating even stock. After the exhaust was installed, it's truly a beast. I recommend the exhaust unequivocally. If you don't like it loud, you can use the normal setting and still get great performance.
