    I've been driving the 430 for a few weeks now with your headers and cats, and thought I would share some feedback.

    Overall, wow. I am very, very happy.

    What a sound it makes, and what a response from the loud pedal. I would say it feels like a completely new car, but to be fair my point of reference before having the work done (which included ignition harness and fuel pump work) wasn't the best it could be to start with.

    First off, sound. On cold start up, it sounds exactly like a Challenge Car. And I have been around enough of them in the garages at Daytona and Sebring to be able to say that with certainty. I heard from some of the sales and the service guys at Ferrari of CF that when the guys started it up in the shop once everything was put together, they honestly thought it was one of the race cars firing up.

    I have taken to starting it with the garage door closed just to avoid annoying the neighbors too much. Once things settle down after idling for a minute, the sound settles into a fairly low pitched growl, pretty raspy, and with a bit of a resonant drone below 3K. That's most likely attributable to the X-Ost box in combination with the increased flow from your parts.

    When I get out of town and find a nice straight deserted stretch of road, winding it up through the gears produces an absolutely glorious noise!! Worth every penny and then some. And again, the throttle response is sharp and immediate.

    To be completely honest, the whole package is a bit louder than I would really like for in town driving, but on the open road, and for the track (which is where we are going next month) I would say it is a completely acceptable trade off.

    I didn't install the O2 extenders. I decided to wait and see if a CEL came on or not. Well, yes it did. I am getting P0420 and P0430 - catalyst efficiency below threshold - but I can live with that. I have a Bluetooth OBD2 reader linked to my phone, so I can check the codes any time, anywhere. So long as it is only those two, I have no problem just clearing them and forgetting about it. Next time I'm doing any work on it, I'll install the extenders and see what difference that makes.

    A word on quality. I inspected the headers when they arrived and was impressed with the workmanship. I wasn't in town to see the cats delivered, but assume the same quality. In fact, the mechanic that installed all of them made a point of telling me when I picked the car up that "everything was a great quality build and a perfect fit. Everything just bolted straight up with no issues at all."

    So count me as one satisfied customer.

    Many thanks for all your help. I have got the new set of cat for my F430 already and I am very happy with it. Your product is outstanding but most of all your service has been impeccable. I will be asking my dealer to order the new carbon fiber air box and the BMC F1 air filter early next month.
